Software for Optimising Roads and Fleet Management A computer tool in development, with professional features for solving real-life problems regarding fleets of vehicles and their capacities. (CVRP - Capacited Vehicle Routing Problem), I.e. the calculation and optimisation of routes and the management of logistics information associated with this field. This development is based on professional experience and scientific knowledge acquired by members of the SOA team. The software, currently under development, integrates a full set of features of interest to those who require logistics management. Also for the processes in the supply and distribution of goods and other logistics services (e.g. urban transport, special purpose transports, reverse logistics, etc). Possible applications :
  • Location of customers, transit centres and warehouses (geocoding, waypoints.)
  • Calculation and management of distances, times and transport costs: as well as related variables (fuel consumption, CO2 emissions etc.)
  • Calculation and optimisation of transport routes to a collection of vehicles
